Meet Our Board-Certified Winter Haven Vein Center Specialists
Dr. Meyer graduated from Notre Dame, and then completed medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He then did his residency in surgery at Cincinnati’s Good Samaritan Hospital.
When Dr. Meyer was getting trained in vascular surgery, he noticed how people with vein problems were commonly overlooked at hospitals. Venous issues weren’t seen as real health risks. They seemed to only be seen as cosmetic problems. This didn’t sit well with Dr. Meyer because many of the patients actually felt pain from their varicose veins, spider veins, and other venous diseases. This realization motivated Dr. Meyer to launch Florida Vein Care Specialists.
He is one of the world’s leading venous disease experts and serves thousands of patients in Kissimmee and surrounding areas in Florida.
In 2004, Dr. Meyer relocated to Florida, and has since been helping people in many different ways improve their vascular health.
